Dear Peter, You stepped so easily between being my youngest uncle and making me feel like your kid brother, both relationships brimming with fun, adventure and lots of laughing. Your passing leaves a void too big to fill. Rest in Peace Pete

My wonderful Uncle…my Godfather… A man like no other… Just knowing you are no longer with us breaks my heart. You have been such a charismatic, incredible and inspirational huge personality in my life for as long as I can remember. Through a child’s eyes…everything you created was so magical and like stepping into the movies. As an adult…the love, warmth and welcome into your home was just fabulous and an invitation to a Gold Room event…treasured like a Royal Invitation. And my goodness…we have laughed and cried in that room….the warm golden clad walls soaking up a wealth of family emotion but shrouding those within in an incredibly beautiful safe place. And then there’s the Breakfast Room…those oh so frequent words…”I really can’t stay…I literally have 20 mins max”….4 hours later…a few bottles of wine later…some raspberry vodka shots later, some warmed sausage rolls later….we would finally drag ourselves away….having had one of the most memorable, fun afternoons ever!!! You literally were a King…a Don…Elvis the King…Don Corlione….my precious Godfather. You and your glorious siblings…created family like no other…and I am so incredibly blessed to be part of it and continue the Hodson legacy….one that has embedded the importance of relationship, connection, love and laughter…to celebrate the good times and reflect with thanks and gratitude for all we have been part of. Together with Aunty Jean…your Queen…you have blessed the lives of us all. Always making me feel so loved and special….I can’t tell you how wonderful that has felt and what that has meant to me. All that you are, all that you have shared and created will remain a deep part of all that love you…you will never ever be forgotten…you will be firmly, securely etched in my heart forever….
